Sony has revealed the top selling PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 games for the month of January.
Resident Evil topped the charts for both consoles, according to a PlayStation Blog post. The outcome shows that remakes are alive and well in the gaming industry, even if it's a game that's been remade twice. Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition and Grand Theft Auto V rounded out the top three on PS3 respectively.
What's perhaps most surprising, is that Dying Light finished as the second most purchased game on the PS4 for January, making it the only new IP in the top 10. In fact, since its first week of launch, over 1 million people have played Techland's new zombie game.
