...and by bigger mark, they mean multiplatform.
While Titanfall 2 has yet to be officially announced, we all know that it is coming. EA and the staff at Respawn Entertainment haven’t done anything to deny its existence and have embraced discussion regarding the project. The most recent example of this was made at the 2015 Technology, Internet & Media Conference by EA CFO Blake Jorgensen.
When discussing the possibility of the project, Jorgensen stated:
"Last year it was on the Xbox only; in the future, we haven't yet announced, but we'll probably have another Titanfall game. It will probably be a bigger footprint than just a single platform. I think that's a huge positive for us."
Titanfall wasn’t a bad game by any means but it lacked the longevity needed t make it the true blockbuster that EA and Respawn had hoped for. Did the limited availability of the game, since it was only on the Xbox and PC platforms, hinder its performance? I guess we will find out when the sequel finally comes to fruition as it appears to be headed to a wider platform base.
