Netflix is interested in making a live-action Zelda series

In a very general and inconclusive article by the Wall Street Journal, it has been said that Netflix is working with Nintendo to create a series in the Legend of Zelda universe.

That would be really great. Netflix has an undeniably solid track record with their original series lineup. If Nintendo is actually working with them as the article says as well, there's really a pretty slim chance it won't be excellent.

However the article comes across as, frankly, totally unfounded. Apparently Nintendo has declined to comment the company "doesn't comment on rumors and speculation." It also says they are still looking for a writer, and that it's possible either Nintendo or Netflix will kill the project before it starts.

So basically what we've learned is that there's maybe a chance that Netflix and Nintendo might want to make a show based on Zelda. If I'm wrong, I'll gladly admit it as I eagerly watch the show.

Hopefully this time there will be no "well excuuuuuuse me Princess!"
