Google Glass is gone, and despite what Google says, it's probably gone for good. One guy died from playing games for three days straight, while another guy made a bot so he doesn't have to play Destiny anymore.
What are you playing this weekend?

I've been getting back into a project I started a couple of months ago and, well, then the holidays hit and it kept getting put off: my Pokemon Blue Nuzlocke Run. For those unfamiliar with this self-imposed challenge, the two core rules are you can only catch the first Pokemon you encounter in a route/area, and any Pokemon that faints in battle must be released or permanently stored in the PC. There are several optional rules that can be used to make the challenge a bit harder or a tad easier. I'm nearing the halfway point in the game and I'm hoping to finish this challenge up in the next month or so.

I'm continuing my quest through The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. Sadly it doesn't make the New 3DS XL get here any sooner, but it makes the waiting more bearable. I might also pick up Star Wars: Dark Forces on GOG. It's one of my favorite old games, but I haven't been able to get it to run at an acceptable level in years, even with DosBox. I think I'll coin a new saying: Thank God for GOG.

I just ordered Metro Redux from Amazon for $25, so I will probably be playing that this weekend. I played Metro 2033 last year, but couldn't quite get into it. I'm hoping the new coat of paint in Redux will help me bridge that gap between loving it and not quite being interested enough. Besides that, still plugging away at Omega Ruby. I totally wasn't expecting all the post-game content there is, so I was nowhere near as close to finished as I thought. Fine by me!

I am still living in a Wii U wonderland since picking one up for my daughter a few weeks back. I just can't seem to pull myself away from Hyrule Warriors and Mario Kart 8 long enough to get anything else done. Plus, I nabbed a copy of Super Smash Bros. this past weekend and have been putting off opening it up — but I have a feeling that is about to change.

I'mma put Hozier on blast so I can get some rhythm & blues into my Mass Effect 3. I can't believe I had this game on simmer for three years. All the internet's moaning and groaning about the ending actually made me stop playing very early on. But anyway. That's no one's fault but mine. It's time to finish the fight, and shrug off James Vega's remarks about how FemShep "fills out a uniform like nobody's business."

The big 2.5 patch for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has dropped. So that means a new major raid and a bunch of new dungeon runs and sidequests, perfect for Paladin training. Beyond that, I'll be working on getting 100% of the trophies in Far Cry 4.
