Hou Yi is about to bring down the sun. New God coming to SMITE in the latest patch

One of the biggest surprises coming out this past weekends SMITE World Championship was that we are getting a patch this week and with it brings, Hou Yi, Defender of the Earth. 

Hou Yi will be filling the hunter role and will also be the first Chinese hunter to be added to the game. The interesting thing about his kit is that a lot of people have discovered that he works extremely well in the jungle. His first ability can bounce off walls and tight spaces, perfect for objective fights in the jungle and his third ability and ultimate are great for ganking and team fights as well. 

His ultimate ability is one of the craziest things I have ever seen and one of the coolest looking ultimates in SMITE. Hou Yi launches nine arrows in the air and causes nine suns to come crashing down at his target location. The suns all do damage and slow for each one hit. This ultimate is going to be absolutely devastating when combos with gods that have hard crowd control like Ares, Athena, Ymir,

Next, we got some new skins coming in the patch. First off is a very long awaited skin for Hel called "Solstice Hel". Her light stance represents Spring and Summer and her dark stance represents Fall and Winter. 

Cupid (please buff) will also be getting a new "Lucky Baby Fuwa" skin and Nox will be getting her gold, legendary and diamond skin. 

Finally, the new god rotation is Athena, Chaac, Chang'e, Nemesis and Ullr
