I found it quite weird that Nintendo has been so quiet on this New Nintendo 3DS business, well here in America at least. I mean, I figured it was obvious that the system would come to America but there was no announcement in sight. Well Gamenesia may have our answer.
According to Gamenesia, a GameStop employee reported to them that the New Nintendo 3DS has been updated in their systems and has a release date of February 13th. GameStop's system also says that trading in an original 3DS or 3DS XL will get you $75 and $100 towards the purchase of the new system respectively.
That's not all however as Kotaku has posted a flyer which does seem to confirm the February 13th release date. The most interesting part about that flyer however is that Majora's Mask 3D is also listed there as well, so one might assume that Majora's Mask 3D will be coming out on the 13th as well. Hopefully there is some kind of bundle with both the New 3DS and Majora's Mask 3D together.
Still, these of course are all rumors until Nintendo announces it themselves, which could happen very soon as Nintendo announced that a new Nintendo Direct, which will focus on the Spring 2015 Wii U and 3DS line up, will happen tomorrow at 6AM PST.
