Well after a long Christmas vacation of family, 11-hour road trips, and norovirus, I'm back to gaming full time. The break has reordered my priorities. I'm playing Far Cry 4. All the hidden paths in the highlands that border the map are like digital crack to me. I must smoke it all. When I'm not doing that, I'm leading Everton through another Premier League campaign in FIFA 15. Luckily it's going better than their real one (there's still the Europa League, guys!). They're talking about selling Ross Barkley so they can spend the estimated 45 million pounds/euros/dollars/bottlecaps on rebuilding other parts of the team. I say simply buy digital FIFA Jozy Altidore and all their problems will be solved. Also I've embarked on a campaign to utterly dismantle Tottenham Hotspur just because someone here at Gaming Nexus is a huge fan of the team and they're having a much better season than Everton. *Buys Harry Kane*

I'm afraid to leave my house in The Long Dark, but it's almost as cold here in Columbus, Ohio, so I guess I'd rather stay inside my warm real house and possibly get eaten by fake wolves in a video game. I might also be getting into Payday 2 now that my brother convinced me to pick it up during the Steam sale. I'll also be checking out the HD remake of the GameCube remake of Resident Evil. I kind of wish Capcom would make new games, but considering how awful the last couple RE games were, I don't blame them for going back to RE1, which still isn't half bad.

I will be continuing to break into the playoffs with my player in NBA 2K15 (almost there, only two games back from the last spot with nine games left). What other free time I have I'll be working more on GTA V on Xbox One.

I've been on an "electronic diet" this week, which might sound like I'm eating only electronics at mealtime, but it's the opposite—so a lot less fun. The diet ends this Sunday, though, so I'm anxious to get back into Dragon Age: Origins, even though the storyline sent me right back into the frickin' Fade, of all places. I'm wishing my character was half as charismatic as Alistair, or as volatile as Morrigan, or as cute-as-a-button as Leliana.

This weekend I'll be playing through Warhammer Quest for an upcoming review, a bit of FIFA 15, and I'll be looking to start something new (new to me anyway); maybe AC IV: Black Flag, maybe Battlefield 4, maybe somethign off PS Plus.

Going to try and finish off Far Cry 4. I've got a whole lot of story to complete, but I did most of the open world stuff. Hopefully I can also get my paladin to level 50 in Final Fantasy XIV. Other than that, it's social times, since I was sick during the holiday weekends.

I’ll be spending most of the weekend packing up and moving back to school. But if I have any spare time for games, I’ll be diving back into Dragon Age: Inquisition to try and grind (the good kind!) through the endless amount of side quests.

I must continue my hunt for orcs in Shadow of Mordor. Some farming is also in order for Diablo III as I continue to try and find that elusive ceremonial knife that I am missing. Finally, I'm going to play a little basketball on the PlayStation 4 with NBA 2K15.
