The next KI character is an “Omen” of things to come...

...both figuratively and literally.

Iron Galaxy has revealed the next character that will be joining the Killer Instinct, Season 2 roster. The new character, named Omen, is going to be a bonus character that is not a part of the season’s 8 new faces. Omen, Herald of Gargos, is going to be a free gift to all players who have purchased either Season 2 pack. According to the developer, there are currently no plans to offer him individually for purchase.

Omen has already revealed himself to fans of the fighting game, in a way, as he is the creature that possessed and formed Shadow Jago. After accumulating enough power from his JAgo form, he is now capable of taking form on the “mortal plane”. His moveset will be very similar to Shadow Jago but will also feature a lot of things to set him apart and make him unique.

The official reveal of Omen will come early next week and his release not long after.
