Well it's officially 2015 and Nintendo is kicking off the new year with a couple of classic hand held games for the Virtual Consoles. The Wii U gets Pokemon Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire from the Game Boy Advance which is pretty much pinball, except you have to catch Pokemon in the process. Meanwhile the 3DS gets the Game Boy Color game Bionic Commando: Elite Forces. As much as I love the NES version of Bionic Commando, I've never played Elite Forces as the one time I found a used cart in a nearby game store, I couldn't get it to work for the life of me, so it might be about time I give this one a shot.
As for sales elsewhere on the eShops, Shovel Knight is 33% off until 9am PT January 8th for both the Wii U and 3DS, Unepic is 30% off until 9am PT on January 29th, and both Dress to Play: Cute Witches! and Dress to Play: Magic Bubbles! is 50% off until 9am PT on February 1st.
