Ninja Theory polishes off their Dante for a next gen revival [DmC]

More On: Devil May Cry 4 DMC

Yet another big game from the 360 / PS3 generation is making it’s way back out for an encore on the current generation of systems. This time, it is Ninja Theory’s DmC that is making a comeback, bringing the intense action game to both the PS4 and Xbox One. The game is launching on March 17, 2015 at a budget price of $39.99.

As usual, the new version of the game is getting a slight visual boost and will run at a full 1080P resolution and 60 frames per second. On top of that nicer visuals, there are also a variety of new modes and features being added to the experience:

  • rebalanced / polished gameplay
  • inclusion of all released DLC
  • new Bloody Palace Mode for Vergil
  • Turbo Mode
  • Hardcore Mode
  • new Gods Must Die difficulty level
  • Must Style Mode
  • new costumes
  • clip recording and sharing functionality

While the reboot to the classic franchise received a bit of criticism for the its direction with the classic character, most reviewers found the game to be incredibly polished and a ton of fun. I am definitely looking forward to picking up the definitive version of DmC next March.

Capcom has also announced that Devil May Cry 4 is getting the same treatment on both next gen systems, however the details regarding that game and its release have not been given.
