Today's update to Free Lives' campy side scrolling shoot 'em up modeled after 80's and 90's action heroes, Broforce, debuts and entire island of user generated content. Players can take control of the Broforce level editor and join in "Weekend Workshop Brodowns" every other weekend to create missions around weekly themes. The best of these submissions will be eligible for free Devolver Digital games and could see their design featured in the full Broforce release later next year.
Broforce is available now via Steam Early Access or can be purchase via the Humble store through the Broforce website. It's worth mentioning that if you've never played and want a taste, the Expendabros is free on Steam. The Expendabros was a special release of the Broforce mechanics wrapped around the characters from and to partner the release of the Stallone film, The Expendables. It gives a good sampling of what you're in for: a bit of stupid fun and 'splosions aplenty. A quick youtube vid about the level editor is below.
