This past weekend Avalanche Software let the word slip via Twitter that Disney Infinity 2.0 was going portable this coming May, by way of Sony’s Vita. While it is a little bit late to the party, with the original game launching quite a few months back, it is good to see the fun sandbox of Marvel and Disney toys go portable. The new release of the game will include it’s own starter pack, which will feature a Bluetooth enabled character base and an exclusive Blacksuit Spiderman. It will also work with the recently released PlayStation TV.
The portable version of the game has been a long time coming. I hope that the size of the base is decreased for the release, as the console base is a bit bulky for portable purposes. I also hope the the game has all of the same features as the console version, meaning full support for content from the original console release (the original Disney Infinity).
