Bravely Default took the handheld world by storm, re-kindling interest in traditional JRPG titles and job systems galore. Now, after plenty of speculation, Square Enix has announced that the sequel, Bravely Second, has a launch date and some pretty awesome additions.
The important date to recognize here is April 23, 2015. This is the date that Bravely Second drops in Japan. There won't just be a regular title, either. Thanks to the popularity of the first title, there will be a slick looking collector's edition, complete with an original soundtrack, novel, figurines, and a couple of other enticing items. The price will be stiff, however, coming in at 14,800 yen ($123 here in the States).
Sadly, there is no announcement regarding the expected NA/EU launch, and hopefully the wait time doesn't match the first title, which was fourteen months before American and European players got a chance to play the fantastic RPG.
Stay tuned, because we're hoping that an announcement isn't far off.
