Last week was just the teaser, the first look at the upcoming Game of Thrones episodic adventure from Telltale Games. But below is the full trailer, and hints at a number of plot points and features quite a few familiar faces.
This first episode will center around House Forrester, and its title is lifted from their house words: "Iron from Ice." In this tale, House Forrester, caught up in the War of the Five Kings, will claim to be loyal to the throne and the Lannisters, despite being from the North, holding a bitter feud with the Boltons, and previously serving as Bannermen for forces that served the Starks of Winterfell. If none of that made any sense to you, don't worry, because I imagine the story will spell out all the pieces much like Telltale's celebrated Walking Dead series, which was made in the same vein. You need not be a Game of Thrones fanatic to pick this one up and enjoy, and the game will feature a story driven experience where choices made as one of the five Forresters you will alternate control over will effect the others and the world around you.
If you are a massive fan, then you'll be pleased to know that this episode will feature the voice talent directly from HBO's amazing adaptation of the material, including Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister, Natalie Dormer as Margaery Tyrell, and Ramsay Snow performed by Iwan Rheon. Other actors will reprise their roles in later episodes of the six part series.
