Assassin's Creed Unity is being released today on all platforms, but the PC version has a few tricks up their sleeves. Ubisoft is going forward with NVIDIA's Gameworks initiative and has really upped the visual fidelity of the game.
Features like HBAO+ ambient occlusion TXAA anti-aliasing, advanced tessellation, and a choice of texture quality makes Assassin's Creed Unity a very pretty looking game on PCs that have the horse power to run it.
