Skylanders character Eruptor joining Snoopy in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Skylanders mania continues to spread as it's been announced that game character Eruptor will be a balloon in the upcoming 88th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Parade taking part on November 27. For those unaware with Eruptor's history, he hails from the underground of a floating volcanic island in which he launched to the surface after a massive eruption.

Creation of the Eruptor balloon involved using more than 40 gallons of florescent paint and five barrels of glitter. Video games fans should also keep keep a look out for notable character Pikachu, who will also be on display in balloon format. View the complete lineup of 2014 balloons.

The 88th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will be live broadcast on November 27 starting at 9 a.m. across all time zones on NBC.
