Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will soon let you play as Handsome Jack...'s doppelganger

First you saw him awaken The Warrior.  Then you saw him try to be a hero in a time before he awoke The Warrior.  Now you can play as him...sort of.  On November 11th you'll be able to play as Handsome Jack's Doppelganger in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.  The Doppelganger, which you had to take down in Borderlands 2 as part of the main storyline, will be able to summon two Digi-Jacks to help you in battle.  I'm kind of for and against this idea.

On the one hand, it sounds like it'll be very similar to what Jack does at the end of BL2 when you fight him and he spawns copies of himself.  On the other hand...Wilhelm is kind of similar already.  Wilhelm's Wolf and Saint action skill sends out two bots, one that attacks and one that heals.  I assume that both of the doppelgangers will attack enemies and I'm not sure in what fashion, but I'm kind of leery of gaining another pet class.  On the other hand I'm not sure what all else the doppelganger's would be able to do, so I'm sure it'll fit in somehow.
