Newest SMITE patch brings a brand new Bakasura and Demon Catcher Zhong Kui

When there's something strange in your neighborhood, who you gonna call? Zhong Kui!

If all goes according to plan, a new patch for SMITE should be arriving tomorrow morning and with it brings a complete remodel to Bakasura, a Halloween themed Treasure Chest and a brand new skin for Zhong Kui. 

Bakasura is the newest god to get the remodel treatment. Some of the older gods in the game don't look as good as the newer ones so they need to get makeovers. Bakasura got a complete remodel complete with new visuals, FX and a new voice pack. 

Also introduced in this patch is a new Halloween Treasure Chest. For 400 Gems you can roll to win various items including Jack The Ripper Thanatos, The King Bacchus and two brand new skins for Osiris. The new Osiris skins will be two separate variations on Frankensteins's monster. One is the more traditional "Frankenstein" monster that most of us know, and the other is a more futuristic Frankenstein look. If you don't want to roll for the items, you can buy them individually as well. Since these are Halloween themed items, they will only be available for a limited time. 

Finally, the big Odyssey item has been revealed and it's the amazing "Demon Catcher" Zhong Kui skin which bears a strange resemblance to a popular 80's ghost busting movie. Instead of catching demons in his demon bag, Zhong now catches them in his demon vacuum. Very cool!
