Curve Studios has a new video explaining how their upcoming Wii U title Stealth Inc. 2: A Game of Clones is a bit different from it's predecessor. Most notably, Stealth Inc. 2 is going to be a less linear experience, with more Metroidvania-style gameplay. In Stealth Inc. 2 you are one of many, many clones created in a test facility. Early in the game, you escape your test chambers and start to explore the entire facility, finding gadgets along the way to help you. As you explore the facility, you'll be able to find and rescue your fellow clones from their experiment-riddled prisons. You'll also be able to play in co-op mode where one player controls the main character, while the other uses the Wii U gamepad to help them along the way.
This game reminds me a bit of Constant C with a dash of Gunpoint. And for some reason, it makes me think of The Swapper, but I can't really put my finger on why...
I wasn't able to find a specific release date, but Stealth Inc. 2: A Game of Clones should be out for the Wii U later this year.
