Destiny's Iron Banner event now available

Today, Bungie has announced that the Iron Banner PvP event is now available for play in Destiny.

The game mode, which was briefly available during the beta, will allow players to fight in the Crucible with all of their level advantages enabled. This means that the attack and defense ratings on player's equipment will actually have an effect.

The new mode will last from Oct. 7th to Oct. 14th and promises players new bounties to earn reputation with the "Iron Lords". Like other factions, reputation will level up your rank and provide new rewards such as unique shaders, emblems, class items, and armor.
