Ubisoft has announced that the release date of The Crew has been delayed until Dec. 2.
The MMO racer which was initially slated to hit PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC on Nov. 11th, has now been pushed back less than a month, according to a post on Ubisoft's blog.
The reason for the delay, according to the post, is because developers Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections are actively taking feedback and reshaping the game. A second beta has also been announced for consoles, coming in November, to help the game "deliver more of what you love."
“We received a lot of valuable information from the recent PC and console betas,” said creative director Julian Gerighty. “We are now scrutinizing all of the player feedback so we can ensure that The Crew delivers the seamless open-world experience that meets everyone’s high expectations.”
Thanks to player feedback, substantial updates have already been integrated into the game. Improvements include the fine-tuning of collisions, adjustments to difficulty, the option to remove the HUD, and better integration of voice chat.
