The New Nintendo 3DS is coming to Australia and New Zealand this year

Well, color me envious of our gaming brothers and sisters down under. In a Nintendo Direct especially for that region, Nintendo announced that Aussies and Kiwis will be getting the New Nintendo 3DS and XL on November 21st, and reiterated that other Western regions still have to wait until 2015 to get their hands on the new portables. This is sure to give the 3DS a holiday boost in those sub-equatorial countries, but I have to wonder why they're holding off on releasing the New 3DS in Europe and the Americas.
