Mortal Kombat X announces release date, offers a 4-armed incentive

Mark your calendars fight-fans! Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have announced the release date of Mortal Kombat X. The game will launch on April 14, 2015 for the 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC. First off, the game is coming a lot sooner than I expected it to launch. Secondly, I am very happy to see that the PC is getting a version on day one (John should be very happy).

In addition to the release date, it appears that there is a little incentive for preordering the game at participating retailers. Maybe little doesn’t quite describe him, but fans who preorder will get access to Goro as a playable character in the game. The Shokan Warrior will undoubtedly be available as DLC at a later time, but if you want to play as him on launch day, you had better preorder a copy.
