It seems like it has been forever since the next generation versions of Minecraft were announced for both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. The wait has been long, but it is almost over. For Xbox One fans at least, it will only be a few more days. Major Nelson has revealed that Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will finally be available this coming Friday, September 5.
The new version of the game will cost you $19.99, unless you have the older version. If you bought the 360 version you can upgrade for just $4.99. Plus, you will be able to carry over all of your previously purchased DLC and progress (creations) for no additional charge.
Now, if we can just get the PS4 version past certification...
