Self-implicated Sony PlayStation Network DDOS attackers also made casual bomb threats over Twitter, diverting a plane flight that had Sony Online Entertainment president John Smedley onboard. Three months after the Google/Twitch rumors, Amazon ended up purchasing Twitch for $970 million. And according to research firm DFC Intelligence, 92 percent of all PC game sales are digital. (It's good to be Steam.)
What are you playing this weekend?

After I play Let's Get the Heck Out of Downtown to our nice, new waterfront rental, I'll be playing AR-K to try and finish my review. In the meantime, when I get a spare half hour or so, I'll be leveling my decks in Hearthstone.

I am wrapping up a review of The Golf Club for Xbox One. After that, I am hoping to have a copy of NHL 15 in my hands for review on Xbox One as well. In between those, I have been going back to my 360 to enjoy the BioShock series.

My weekend will be filled with fighting and dancing. I will be continuing my trek through Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate on the PS4, and attempting not to embarrass myself with Dance Central Spotlight. I am not ever sure that second part is possible.

I'm continuing to work through CounterSpy this weekend. I'm in love with the art style and music, but there are a few rough edges here and there. The random worlds really extend the life of the game, but also create some interesting side effects. I'm probably also going to devote some time to MechWarrior Online now that they are selling some of the Clan mechs for Cbills instead of hard currency. I picked up a Kit Fox a few weeks ago but the Novas are now for sale and that will tide me over until they allow people to buy Timberwolfs for in-game currency.

A buddy of mine—who's way more into Japanese animation than I am—recommended I try Sunrider. It's free to play, Steam users have tagged it with "strategy," "rpg" and "visual novel," so, why not, a little turn-based mech action couldn't hurt. If that turns out to be a complete fail for me, I've rerolled a sword-and-board warrior in Dragon Age: Origins (thanks, Sean Colleli), and I still love having good ol' Alistair along for the ride. The dude is utterly indispensable for his witty rhetoric alone. He's the Wrex Urdnot of Dragon Age. On a vaguely related note, I'm having a blast in a play-by-instant-messenger D&D campaign with a few other folks here at Gaming Nexus. They'll regret having elected me as dungeon master yet.
