The big release this week for Nintendo systems is tomorrow's release of Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney for the 3DS.  However, that's not all that's being released this week.  It is Thursday after all, so that means another Nintendo Download.

The second month dedicated to Mega Man continues with Mega Man X3 hitting the Wii U eShop.  This time around a new scientist by the name of Dr. Doppler is behind the latest round of Maverick attacks...though if you're a fan of the classic series then you know that it's always the same main villain behind it all in every game.

We also have the release of Azure Striker GUNVOLT from Inti Creates tomorrow.  This game takes the best aspects of Japanese 16-bit classics and updates them with new mechanics and graphics.  Plus for a limited time you'll get a free digital code to download the 8-bit game MIGHTY GUNVOLT.

If you were a fan of SteamWorld Dig on the 3DS, you'll be happy to know that it's making its way to the Wii U.  In SteamWorld Dig you'll take on the role of Rusty as he arrives at a mining town.  You'll be able to utilize the Wii U GamePad as you explore an underground world full of secrets, treasure, and terrors.

On a final note, Capcom is having a sale through September 4th where select games for the Wii U and 3DS are up to 60% off, including Ducktales Remastered, Dungeons & Dragons, Chronicles of Mystara, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorneys - Dual Destinies, and more.  Check out Nintendo's website for more details.
