Make the leap to next gen “The Last of Us” for cheap

Gamestop is going to be offering a great deal for those gamers who are looking to get their hands on the re-mastered version of the Last of Us when it launches for PlayStation 4 this coming week. The promo, which was unearthed by the staff over at Junkie Monkeys, will be valid through August 2 and give you 50% off of the new PS4 version of the game when you trade in your original, PS3 copy. Basically, you are getting $25 in trade-in credit towards the new game, which isn’t a bad deal at all considering the usual trade-in values for games. The updated version of the game, which launches on July 30, features a gorgeous visual overhaul and all of the previously released DLC content. This is arguably one of the greatest games of the last generation, getting rave reviews from almost the entire industry (including our own Nathaniel), so if you haven’t experienced it yet this would be the perfect time.
