Link's inventory has accumulated some exotic items over the years, and Hyrule Warriors is taking full advantage of them. This new trailer shows off two of the more eclectic weapons: the wrecking ball and the power glove. The chained, spiked wrecking ball was one of the most ridiculous items from Twilight Princess--Link could barely walk while lugging it around--but man could it do some damage. It looks positively devastating in Hyrule Warriors and it appears that Link has bulked up a bit as he can balance it on one palm now.
The power glove (no, not the infamous NES accessory) magnified Link's lifting strength a hundredfold in Ocarina of Time and Link to the Past. In Ocarina he could eventually lift massive boulders and stone obelisks to clear his path, but in Hyrule Warriors he uses them as weapons. He can even lift the bigger enemies and use them as projectiles.
I really, really can't wait for this game's September release.
