They loved them some guillotines. That's something you should probably learn about 18th century France. And if you've learned anything about Assassin's Creed, then you already know that Assassin's Creed Unity will feature slit throats, stabbed throats, and perforated brain pans. Since the Frenchies in the streets are getting all kinds of hangry, there are torches and pitchforks in everybody's hands down in the streets.
Once you get past the existence of four-player co-op, Assassin's Creed Unity gameplay looks the same as it ever was in the series. Climb things, jump off things, stab things--jump off things and stab things in midair. Admittedly, there are some nice, fast descents going on here, too, so that should be nice. Be sure to try the powdered wigs on sticks. They're to die for.
Assassin's Creed Unity comes to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 28.
