Dead Island 2 survey asks if you want a "real zombie" in your collector's edition

The Dead Island series gets mixed reactions from its marketing plans. It practically wins Oscars for its cinematic trailers, but then is reprimanded for its dismembered-bikini-clad-zombie-victim collector's edition statuettes.

Okay then, says Dead Island 2 publisher, Deep Silver. You pick, then.

Deep Silver put up a survey featuring nearly 30 different options of what could go into the Dead Island 2 collector's edition. On a scale of 1 (Do Not Want) to 5 (I Need This!), you could be instrumental in whether Twitter whips itself into a furor over things like a zombie arm back scratcher, a zombie flag of California, or..."a real zombie"?

Do Not Want.

Or maybe you do. I mean, the real zombie choice comes with a legal disclaimer stating: "real zombie subject to country availability." So, let your gurgly, zombie-inflected voice be heard and vote.

Dead Island 2 comes to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in Spring 2015.

In the tradition of the community-voted Collector's Editions for Dead Island Riptide in North America and Saints Row IV worldwide, Deep Silver announced that voting is now open for fans worldwide to participate in a quick survey and choose what they want from the sunny shores of quarantined California, including voting on a real zombie*! Dead Island 2 is coming spring 2015 from development studio YAGER for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Windows PC.
