One of my favorite games (and Jeff's) of the past year is, without a shadow of a doubt, Cellar Door Games’ Rogue Legacy. It’s simple, incredibly fun, absolutely hilarious, and amazingly addictive. It is very easy to lose yourself for hours in the game. The game is finally making its way off of the PC platform and to the consoles, at least on the Sony side of things. It was announced today on the PlayStation Blog that the game will hit the PS3, PS4, and Vita simultaneously on July 29, 2014.
The move to Sony’s systems comes with a couple of perks. First off, the game supports both Cross Buy and Cross Save, meaning you only have to pay once to get it on all three platforms and your progress can be easily transferred between the three. Secondly, the game will have full trophy support including one of those elusive Platinum trophies that PlayStation gamers desire. The game is truly a gem and you will definitely want to pick it up when it launches in the next couple of weeks.
