After time soured my opinion of Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel has a much lower bar it needs to clear to succeed for me. Simply the fact that it actually adds some new gameplay, weapon types, and (finally!) cryo elemental weapons raises the game's profile greatly in my mind.
Furthermore, what I've seen of the action skills looks more promising than the last Borderlands title. You'll see two of those in this narrated walkthrough that highlights Wilhelm the Enforcer and Athena the Gladiator.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is out on Oct 14 for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
