Star Wars: The Old Republic has a new expansion coming this August called Galactic Strongholds, allowing you to establish bases across the galaxy. Empires rise and fall, lovely planets like Alderaan get blown out of the sky, but reliable old Tatooine will always be around. I guess that's one reason why you'd want to set up shop on the godforsaken desert world because I can't think of any other. There's not much out there besides conniving Jawas and murderous Tusken Raiders, but if you want a secluded place that nobody else would look at twice, it might just be the perfect location to start a new cult of the Dark Side.
