Last year the Kickstarter for Mighty No. 9 was a huge success and raised over $4 million in pledges that not only met it's original goal, but many of its stretch goals as well, which included things like the game being released on multiple systems, a stage and boss for Call (this game's version of Roll), a chiptune soundtrack, and more.
Well, Mr. Inafune doesn't want the project to end with just the game and would like to see more done, and for that he's turning to the fans once again. Heading on over to www.mightyno9.com will allow you to check out new ways to help support the game including pre-ordering digital copies, Steam early access, and digital artbooks, soundtracks, and manuals.
In addition to the video below of Keji Inafune talking about the new crowd funding, a company called Digital Frontier has released a teaser trailer for a Mighty No. 9 animated series. I'll be honest, it got a good laugh out of me at times, and I'm all for an animated series based on a video game, so if this does get released I'll definitely be checking it out.
