During a Nintendo shareholder's meeting last month, legendary game designer and The Legend of Zelda series creator Shigeru Miyamoto mentioned that he some as of yet unannounced ideas for Zelda games on the 3DS. He said that Nintendo wants to "evolve the series" and that The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds was only a halfway point in that process. While we will likely see some of this evolution in Zelda Wii U, Miyamoto says he has some more ideas for unique Zelda games on the 3DS as well.
Series producer Eiji Aonuma has been teasing a Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask remake for awhile now, but there has still been no official announcement. While I would always prefer a new Zelda game over a remake, I think they should definitely make Majora's Mask a side project at some point (if it isn't already).
