Sledgehammer games has a new dev diary out detailing the process of making the story for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare. Sadly the trailer doesn't focus much on what the story is actually about, but it's cool to see what goes into developing the production.
I'm still a little wary about the whole invasion of Korea that happens at some point in the game, but the futuristic aspects are more appealing than the stories in previous games. I'm a big fan of near-future military speculation and while I don't expect CoD to do anything as cool as alien conspiracies or space travel, it would be nice to see weapons, locations and scenarios similar to Perfect Dark on the N64. It's definitely preferable to the consistently depressing socio-political climate we have here in the present that inspired the Modern Warfare series.
