If you missed the livestream of the Smash Bros. Invitational tournament last night, you can watch the whole thing from the intro speeches to the final KO on Youtube...all 2 hours and 32 minutes of it. The show kicked off with a surprise introduction by Masahiru Sakurai himself, followed by some of the best matches ever played by the world's top competitors.
Even the lively announcers seemed to have some trouble keeping up. The whole show was hosted by Geoff Keighley, who sadly wasn't decked out in his Dorito regalia--maybe Nintendo chose a competing snack to sponsor the event? (apologies Mr. Keighley, you're never living that one down). All in all it was an amazing tournament with some of the closest matches I've seen. If you have the time and you're a Smash fan, it's definitely worth a watch.
