I have a love / hate relationship with Nintendo as of now. I love their franchise games like Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong and Super Smash Brothers but I have not owned a Nintendo console since the Gamecube and I hardly played the Gamecube. I jokingly refer to it as the Resident Evil Cube because thats what I played most on it. Well today Nintendo revealed a new IP and I am going to buy a Wii U within the next year because I NEED this game.
It's called Splatoon and involves two teams of four, armed with ink guns, with the objective to mark as much of the map as possible with your teams color. Whatever team has the most color on the map when the time runs out wins. It's the most simple of concepts but as soon as I saw the trailer, I knew it would be an absolute blast to play.
Splatoon is a Wii U exclusive and will release sometime in 2015.
