During Microsoft's E3 presser today Crystal Dynamics took the stage to announce not one, but two new Tomb Raider games that are on the way. The first is Rise of the Tomb Raider, a sequel to 2013's Tomb Raider reboot. It was announced for Xbox One during its announcement with no other platforms mentioned. The second Tomb Raider game is a sequel to 2010's Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, this one called Lara Croft and The Temple of Osiris. While these aren't technically Tomb Raider titles they do star Lara Croft, but with a heavier focus on co-op and speedy action. The Temple of Osiris will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC "soon", and will feature four-player co-op.
The Guardian of Light is actually one of my favorite games in the Tomb Raider canon, but then again I haven't played the Tomb Raider reboot yet. This series has made a strong comeback and I hope the games continue to succeed.
