When Dead Rising 3 was announced as an Xbox One exclusive, my first reaction was I'll wait for the PC version thanks. And yesterday showed that patience does pay off at times.
Capcom will be showing a few of their games at E3 this year and one of them will be a just announced PC version of Dead Rising 3.
Other titles at the booth will be Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on the 3DS, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite on mobile, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy for the 3DS, the just released Ultra Street Fighter IV, and Capcom Pro Tour.
The big news, of course, is the PC version of Dead Rising 3. Expected release window is the Summer and it will be on Steam, just like the previous game. Keyboard and mouse support will be built in and I'm guessing will be able to run the game in 1080P and higher resolutions at over 30FPS.
Travis and I had a bit of fun with the second game, so I'm guessing we'll be trying out the third one as well. I just hope the co-op mode works well on the PC side of things and we'll get some nice improvements in the graphics department over the Xbox One version.
