At the rate Microsoft is releasing Xbox One news this month you have to wonder what Microsoft is saving for their E3 press conference. They've already announced a new Halo game, removed the paywall for paid services, given a date for external hard drive support, and dropped the Kinect requirement.
Today the company announced that Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will be available this August. If you already own the Xbox 360 version of the game you'll be able to upgrade for $4.99 and all of your existing content can be migrated to the new version. Those that don't own the game will be able to purchase the game for $19.99.
Not a bad deal all around and I know that a lot of people are looking forward to building bigger worlds in the upgraded version of the game.
