Neverwinter: Tyranny of Dragons announced as fourth module

Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios have announced the next module for free-to-play MMO Neverwinter as Tyranny of Dragons. Marking the fourth module released for the game, Tyranny of Dragons is described as bridging the game's characters and narrative with the tabletop series created by Wizards of the Coast.

Dungeons & Dragons Brand Director Nathan Stewart described the MMO and tabletop connection, "This is a pivotal year for Dungeons & Dragons and we are thrilled to have Perfect World and Cryptic on board to make Neverwinter a key part of the D&D experience as we transition to the future. The new Tyranny of Dragons module is just the beginning of us bringing our new serialized entertainment to the fans of both tabletop and digital games.”

Neverwinter: Tyranny of Dragons is scheduled to launch on August 14 for PC.
