Console players of Diablo III were probably wondering when the Reaper of Souls expansion pack would be coming their way. Well, Blizzard finally let loose the details on the Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition.
Coming August 19th to the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4, the Ultimate Evil Edition will feature all the original Diablo III content as well as the Reaper of Souls content along with new updates. That means you'll get a new class in the Crusader, go take down Malthael, participate in Bounties, clear out Nephalem Rifts, and get a new level cap of 70.
The console editions allow for four player same-screen play similar to Gauntlet as well as online play if you want a screen of your own. Playing with a few friends is one of the best ways to experience Diablo III.
On the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the game will be $39.99 while the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will cost you $59.99. It doesn't seem like you'll get a price break if you own the PS3 or Xbox 360 versions of Diablo III, but you can transfer your existing character over to any of the console versions of the same company.
