Um...yeah, that title was stretching it a bit, but I've had that terrible pun in my head all day. Granted that doesn't make it right to unleash it upon the masses, but it's finally out of my head. With that, Mega May have begun with Mega Man Xtreme hitting the 3DS Virtual Console. The Xtreme games kind of worked like the Mega Man Game Boy games, taking Mavericks from the first two Mega Man X games and putting them together. Not quite the same as the classic Game Boy games, but I still enjoyed Xtreme.
There are also two big releases in the forms of Kirby Triple Deluxe and Mario Golf: World Tour, each coming out tomorrow. You can click the link above to check out our review of the latest entry in the Kirby franchise to see if it's one to pick up.
In other 3DS eShop news, the puzzle game Tappingo will be on sale for 30% off until 9am PT on May 15th, plus Shin Megami Tensei IV will be $29.99 until 9am PT from May 5th until 9am PT on May 12th. Other 3DS eShop releases are Azada, Tiny Games - Knights & Dragons, and PICROSS e4. Might have to try that last one, I loved Picross on the Game Boy.
For the Wii U we have the classic NES game Mach Rider as well as a game called Stick it to the Man. In addition, if you're a Splinter Cell fan, Splinter Cell: Blacklist will be dropping to $29.99 on May 5th, so keep an eye out for that one. Personally, I'm not that good at games where stealth is required. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind stealth, but I'd rather not get a game over just because you get spotted.
