It's an exciting time to be a gamer and a fan of comic books. Dark Horse Comics has seemingly made it their mission to put out a comic companion to as many game franchises out there and that's great.
I'd imagine that in this environment, a comic book companion to the Witcher franchise was a sort of an "of course" moment since it's already based on a series of novels and is also a pair of the some of the most thoughtful and mature RPGs that have been made.
