Last year fans of Super Smash Bros. were treated to an amazing documentary detailing the history of the Super Smash Bros. Melee competitive scene, including interviews with the games' best players. The documentary was a huge success, and now its director Travis Beauchamp is using Kickstarter to raise funds for another one. For the second film Beauchamp wants to focus more on the modern Smash scene, and bring in the stories of international players as well. The Kickstarter is already halfway to its funding goal so if you are interested get over there and help them get that second half.
I loved the first Smash Brothers documentary and will probably end up funding the second one as soon as I can decide which donation tier to go for. If the film reaches its goal it is expected to release in December of 2016.
