This morning brought a wealth of information about Nintendo's next big Wii U title Mario Kart 8, including an all new trailer. The trailer is packed full of the same great racing action we have previously seen, as well as some of the game's new features, including all new items. Two new items revealed were the Boomerang, which seems to hit opponents and steal their coins, and the Piranha Plant which bites nearby racers. The trailer also shows off just how good the game looks, certainly making it a new competitor for the best looking Wii U game.
Mario Kart 8 will be the newest addition to a great library of first party titles on Wii U when it releases on May 30th. Like its predecessors Mario Kart 8 doesn't look like it will revolutionize the Kart racing genre but is sure to be a lot of fun, especially the new zero gravity racing.
