Ben Kuchera over at Ars Technica made an interesting
discovery over the weekend when he found that scratched up DVD's that did not play in his Xbox 360 work perfectly in his PS3. While this has yet to be scientifically proven (no kids or pets in my house to fuxor discs) it's certainly an interesting find. Of course the PS3 is a lot quieter than the 360 so there's another reason to use your PS3 as a DVD player (assuming you can find one and have $600 burning a hole in your pocket).
