This week's Nintendo Download is highlighted by a couple of classics and some Sonic DLC. The classics are good, the DLC...depends on your thoughts on Sonic Lost World on the Wii U.
For fans of the puzzle game genre, you can't go wrong with Dr. Mario on the Wii U's Virtual Console. As one of my all-time favorite puzzle games I highly recommend picking this one up. All we need now is Tetris Attack/Panel De Pon and I'll be a very happy camper. For the 3DS VC we have the classic game Clu Clu Land. Clu Clu Land has you controlling a little red creature as you maneuver around the screen collecting gold ingots, but the only way to turn is via the turning posts in each stage. It takes some getting used to...I have yet to get used to it myself, but I digress.
So about that Sonic Lost World DLC. Last time we dealt with Yoshi, this time we head to Hyrule. Sean Colleli posted about it just a couple of posts down from this one, but as a small recap, The Legend of Zelda Zone has Sonic traversing a stage with references to various games in the Legend of Zelda games, such as Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, and Skyward Sword. You can even go through a miniature dungeon. There's no time limit and rings are replaced with hearts, so it sounds like a pretty decent crossover. Sadly though, like the Yoshi DLC, this is a Wii U exclusive DLC, so I still have no reason to dig out my 3DS copy of the game.
Other things to look out for are the continuing sale of select Ubisoft games, Cube Tactics (3DS), My Style Studio: Hair Salon (Wii U), Skater Cat (3DS), I am an Air Traffic Controller Airport Hero Hawaii (3DS...wait, what?), and I am in the movie (3DS/DSiWare...DSiWare still exists?).
