It looks like not everyone is happy with Facebook's acquisition of Oculus Rift as Marcus "Notch" Persson announced today that he is cancelling plans to bring Minecraft to the Rift after the purchase was announced tonight.
Citing the he "doesn't want to work with social, I want to work with games" Mr. Persson announced that he was cancelling a preliminary deal to bring one of the most popular games in the world to the VR platform.
Of course there are already some mods that allow players to play Minecraft on the Oculus Rift so it's not completely a lost cause but those won't deliver the same experience as having a native version of the game.
